Bay Area Roundtable Summer Workshops

“So what does your organization do?”

Whether you’re at a community event or a funder meeting, this simple question often feels complicated to answer. Pitch Perfect will give you tools to design a clear, concise, and compelling articulation of what your organization does, why it matters, and why it’s worth supporting. This half-day workshop will provide participants with:

  • A basic pitch framework and set of tools to develop your pitch

  • Initial preparation for pitching the group of funders hosted by the Walter & Elise Haas Fund on July 19th (details below)

  • Opportunities to "prototype" elements of your pitch and receive feedback

This workshop will be facilitated by Jaime Rapaport Barry and Samantha Goldman of UpStart.

UpStart provides Jewish innovators with the tools, network, and resources needed to generate and scale community-changing ideas. Since its inception, UpStart and its merging partners* have fueled the impact of over 1,300 organizations and trained nearly 3,000 of the Jewish community’s most inspiring leaders.

*UpStart recently announced a merger with Joshua Venture Group, Bikkurim, and the U.S. programs of PresenTense, creating a one-stop resource for nurturing Jewish innovation nationwide.
