Driven by the Jewish conviction that each human being is a full and unique “tzelem Elohim--reflection of God’s presence in the world” Jewish Community Action is organizing and engaging the Jewish community to defeat the anti-marriage amendment. If passed, this amendment would create a lasting ban on marriage for committed gay and lesbian couples in Minnesota for future generations.

Learning from the previous 30 marriage ballot initiatives, conversations are the key to winning in November. Therefore, JCA is challenging the Jewish community to have 5773 conversations with family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers between now and the election.
