Our immigration campaign involves many Jewish Social Justice Roundtable organizations. The core element of our campaign is educating, advocating and organizing around immigration legislation in Congress. Now is the time for Congress and President Obama to create a roadmap to citizenship for 11 million new Americans and ensure that immigrant families are treated with fairness and dignity.
Communities of Practice provide a space for staff of Roundtable organizations to build relationships and support each other in Jewish social justice work. Organizations in the Roundtable network lead regular conversations by phone and video where they share best practices, workshop particular challenges and learn about specific topics relevant to their shared work.
In November 2013, 130 staffpeople from 36 organizations gathered for our first Network Assembly in Maryland.
