Rockville Jews Come Together for Dream Act, Marriage Equality

Mae Singerman, Jewish Social Justice Roundtable Coordinator

Jews United for Justice and the Jewish Social Justice Roundtable were recently featured by Samantha Friedman in the Potomac Patch, focusing on JUFJ's Sukkot celebrations.

As part of a nationwide Jewish focus on civic engagement led by the Jewish Social Justice Roundtable, Jews United for Justice gathered on Oct. 3, 2012, at Temple Beth Ami in Rockville, to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. They discussed the significance of voting for Maryland Questions 4 and 6 on Election Day, which would enact immigrant education rights and marriage equality.
